Jakey had a very green St. Patty's Day! From his jammies to his sippy cup, he was all decked out in the color of the day. Jake does have a bit of Irish in him (from Joe's side), and he definitely makes a cute little leprechaun. In the morning, we attended a St. Patrick's Day party through the Mom's Club, and Jakey had a great time searching for gold coins that were in the grass and on the sidewalk (such a cute activity for the little ones) and eating all of the green goodies he could get his hands on! Later on, Jakey and I went to dinner with my dad (my mom wasn't feeling well so she didn't go) and he had so much fun showing Jake his green beer! Luckily, Jake didn't try to drink any. But he did put a piece of chicken into it! Yum :P

Joe has been in Vegas since Thursday (guys trip for March Madness), and will not be home until Sunday. So Jakey and I are on our own for the weekend! We had a great walking/play date/lunch date today with twins Kyra & Dylan and their mom Janice. And tonight my parents came over to spend time with Jakey and bring us some yummy dinner. Not sure yet what we're up to tomorrow. It is supposed to rain so we may be stuck inside all day. And we can't wait to see "Dada" on Sunday! We miss him! Hopefully he has some luck of the Irish, and brings us home lots of $$...
